Time of Arrival
You will be able to check in to your apartment from 15:00 on the arrival day. Read more under "Keys"
Time of Departure
On the day of departure, we ask that you leave the apartment no later than 10:00, so that we can prepare the apartment for the next guests.
Arrival days
In the period 3 July - 14 August, Saturday is the arrival/departure day. In other periods, you can basically freely choose the arrival day of the week. In some periods, due to the other bookings, however, there may be restrictions on the choice of arrival day. As a rule, you don't need to rent for whole weeks either outside the period of 2 July - 13 August. It gives you the opportunity to put together the holiday according to your choice, just as you can choose to travel on the cheapest ferry days. The cheapest ferry days are usually Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Baby package
You can rent a baby package consisting of: High chair, crib, stroller (sturdy umbrella stroller with a canopy, where the backrest can be fully reclined), changing pad, and bathtub. We kindly ask you to reserve the baby package when you make your booking.
Bus to Gudhjem and Sletten
The bus stop is approximately 500 meters from the holiday apartment. The schedule for all bus routes on Bornholm can be found here: bat.dk.
Cleaning
A holiday must be a holiday! That is why we make sure to clean your holiday apartment on arrival/departure - so you are always sure that the holiday apartment is properly cleaned on your arrival, and you are free from the work of cleaning yourself before your departure. When you order through us, cleaning is always included in your rental price. You therefore do not have to pay extra for the cleaning. On your departure, we therefore simply ask you to ensure that the furniture is in its place, the kitchenware is washed up, and any waste is handed over to the area's environmental station.
Duvets and bed linen
There are duvets and pillows in the holiday apartment. Bed linen and towels are therefore the only thing you must bring yourself. Alternatively, you can rent a linen package, consisting of sheets, pillow and duvet covers as well as a large and a small towel, for 22 EUR per person. Please remember to pre-order if you want to rent bed linen/towels.
Grill
Unfortunately, there is no barbecue available in the holiday apartment. But you are very welcome to bring your own. Just remember to be considerate of neighbours.
Disability conditions
We do not recommend Sletten for people with walking difficulties or wheelchair users. Please contact us on phone +45 56 95 85 66 for advice and guidance if you need a holiday location where it is possible to bring a wheelchair.
Dogs
Unfortunately, it is not allowed to bring dogs or other pets to Sletten Gudhjem. If you wish to travel with pets, we recommend you visiting this page.
Internet
There is free wireless internet in Sletten Gudhjem. Transmission strength may vary. If you need to use the internet connection for work-related matters, we therefore recommend that you bring your own mobile broadband. If the network does not function optimally, this does not provide a basis for financial compensation. You will find the code for the internet in your holiday apartment.
Keys
Together with your booking confirmation, you will also receive information on how to get the key to your holiday apartment. It works easily - and it's no problem if you arrive late at night.
Kitchen appliances
Sletten has a well-equipped kitchen - including kitchen service. You therefore do not need to bring kitchen utensils or the like.
Parking
You can park for free at the parking lot by Sletten Gudhjem.
Smoking
Smoking is not allowed indoors at Sletten Gudhjem.
Shopping
Dagli' Brugsen in Gudhjem is the closest grocery shop (approximately 200 meters from Sletten). Furthermore there is a SPAR in the center of Gudhjem (approximately 500 meters from Sletten).
Power and water consumption
Power- and water consumption is included in your rentail price.
Tea towels, toilet paper and more
Upon your arrival, there is a tea towel, dish cloth and a starting supply of toilet paper in the holiday home. If you need more, you must bring/purchase this yourself.
Terms of payment
We kindly ask you to pay a deposit of 25% of the trip price no later than 10 days after you receive our confirmation of your booking. The balance must be paid no later than 45 days before your arrival. If you order less than 45 days before your arrival, we ask you to pay the day after you have received our confirmation of your order.
Washing machine
There is a washing machine at Sletten Gudhjem, which you can use free of charge.
