Close to the sea, rocks and beach
You live approximately 500 meters from the rocks, the sea and the beautiful Sandkås Beach, which is one of Bornholm's most idyllic beaches. Behind Sandkås Seaview lies the famous rift valley "Storedalen". Over millions of years, ice and tensions in the rocks have created the big crack in the rocks, which you can walk through and enjoy the fantastic animal and plant life. If you go towards the sea, you will come to the old coastal path. If you choose to go north, after a short time you will come to beautiful Allinge, which offers you lots of shops, restaurants, yachts and two good smokehouses. From here it is also not far to Northern Europe's largest castle "Hammershus", where medieval adventure awaits you. From the coastal path, you can also go south to the small fishing village of Sandkås-Tejn, where there is a cozy harbor atmosphere, cafes and not least the mini-brewery Penyllan, voted one of Denmark's best breweries. Sandkås Seaview is located in Sandkås just outside Allinge on Nordbornholm. The Allinge/Sandkås area was the area where Bornholms tourism began at the beginning of the 20th century. The distinctive and beautiful combination of sandy beaches and towering cliffs was probably the reason why both the Danish and German citizens had Allinge/Sandkås as their favorite holiday destination already a hundred years ago - and Allinge/Sandkås is still one of Bornholm's most sought-after holiday destinations.
Kås is an old Bornholm word for "a place between the rocks", and Sandkås is therefore a very telling name for this beautiful natural area, because between the towering rocks you will find the softest white sand - and in front of you lies the sea, tempting you for a swim. After a swim, you can continue along the coastal path to the south to the small fishing village of Tejn, where there are cafes, shops and not least the Penyllan brewery, which is famous among beer experts throughout Europe for its good beer. Or how about a trip to Smedjen, which is a cozy food market at Tejn Harbour?
The nature around Sandkås Seaview
The beach at Sandkås Seaview is beautiful, but also try to take a walk in the forest behind Sandkås Seaview, where you will find one of Bornholm's famous rift valleys "Storedalen". Storedalen was created millions of years ago when tensions in the underground caused the granite to crack larger and larger cracks. Meltwater from the Ice Age glaciers subsequently eroded away soil and rock, so that a gorge with steep cliff sides emerged. It is a fun experience to walk in the narrow crevasse valley with the high cliffs on both sides. The rift valley creates a growing basis for many beautiful plants - in spring the white, yellow and blue anemones bloom together with yellow wartroot and violet larkspur spores.
Medieval adventures at Hammershus
From Sandkås you can also take the coastal path to Allinge, where you walk between towering cliffs, while one beautiful view over the sea replaces the other. Soon, a delicious aroma will greet you. At the end of the coastal path is one of Bornholm's best smokehouses, which offers you delicious fish delicacies. After a nice lunch, you can continue towards the harbor in Allinge, where cafes and yachtsmen create a wonderful harbor atmosphere. Continue on out of Allinge to Sandvig and Northern Europe's largest castle; Hammerhouse. At Hammershus you will experience medieval adventures and exciting stories. Did you know, for example, that there was public user payment already in the Middle Ages? Of course, you paid the executioner yourself if you had to have your head chopped off...and there was always advance payment. Below Hammershus lies Hammerhavnen, where small boats take you on beautiful trips along the coast.

Be transported 300 years back in time
South of Sandkås lies Gudhjem, where you can sail to Christiansø and Frederiksø. In the 18th century, the two small islands were transformed into Denmark's advanced naval base in the Baltic Sea. The naval base was a thorn in the side of the English, who several times initiated fierce bombardments of the island. But the Danish soldiers held their ground, and thus the two small islands maintained their connection to Denmark. The cannons still stand here, and with its exciting history and distinctive nature, you will easily feel that you have been transported 300 years back in time.

Time of Departure
On the day of departure, we ask that you leave the apartment no later than 10:00 AM, so that we can prepare the apartment for the next guests.
Arrival days
As a starting point, you can freely choose the arrival day of the week. In some periods, due to the other bookings at Sandkås Seaview, however, there may be restrictions on the choice of arrival day. As a rule, you don't need to rent for whole weeks either. It gives you the opportunity to put together the holiday according to your choice, just as you can choose to travel on the cheapest ferry days. The cheapest ferry days are usually Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Allergy-friendly holiday apartments
All holiday apartments at Sandkås Seaview are non-smoking and pet-free. Any allergies to down are also no problem, as our duvets and pillows do not contain down.
Baby package
You can rent a baby package consisting of: High chair, crib, stroller (sturdy umbrella stroller with a canopy, where the backrest can be fully reclined), changing pad, and bathtub. We kindly ask you to reserve the baby package when you make your booking. You should pick up the baby package at the reception upon your arrival, and we ask you to return the equipment to the reception at your departure.

Cleaning
A holiday must be a holiday! That is why we make sure to clean your apartment on arrival/departure - so you are always sure that the apartment is properly cleaned on your arrival, and you are free from the work of cleaning yourself before your departure. When you order through us, cleaning is always included in your rental price. You therefore do not have to pay extra for the cleaning. On your departure, we therefore simply ask you to ensure that the furniture is in its place, the kitchenware is washed up, and any waste is handed over to the area's environmental station.
Duvets/Bed linen
There are duvets and pillows in the apartment. Bed linen and towels are therefore the only thing you must bring yourself. Alternatively, you can rent a linen package, consisting of sheets, pillow and duvet covers as well as a large and a small towel, for 22 EUR per person. Please remember to pre-order if you want to rent bed linen/towels.
Electric cars
Unfortunately, it is not legal to charge electric cars by pulling out power cables from the holiday apartment, as the resort's electricity network is not built for the load from electric cars. If you have an electric car, we refer you to charging at the nearby public charging stations instead.
Grill
All holiday apartments at Sandkås Seaview have their own barbecue on the terrace, which you can freely use. Just remember to consider the neighbors when you grill. Please note that you must clean the grill yourself after use.
Dogs
Unfortunately, it is not allowed to bring dogs or other pets into the holiday apartments at Sandkås Seaview. If you are traveling with a dog or other pet, you can look at this pageand get inspiration for where you can stay instead.
Disability conditions
Unfortunately, the holiday apartments are not suitable for wheelchair users. On the other hand, all the 4-6 person apartments are on the ground floor, which can be accessed via a ramp to the right of the building, so you don't have to worry about any stairs. However, you should be aware that the outdoor areas at Sandkås Seaview are not all asphalted - there are thus quite a few gravel paths. Please let us know if you are bringing a wheelchair - then we will do our utmost to find the best possible holiday apartment for you.

You can borrow an iron and ironing board at the reception at the neighboring holiday resort Klintely, which is a 2-minute walk from Sandkås Seaview - and of course it's free for you.

Kitchen appliances
All holiday apartments at Sandkås Seaview have a nice and well-equipped kitchen. You therefore do not need to bring kitchen utensils or the like.

You can park for free at Sandkås Seaview. The holiday apartments are 20 meters from the car park.
Shopping
Sandkås Seaview is located between the towns of Tejn and Allinge, which both have great shopping opportunities: Dagli'brugsen in Tejn is 2,4 kilometers from Sandkås Seaview, and at the harbour in Allinge (2,5 kilometers from Sandkås Seaview) you will find SuperBrugsen and Netto.
Tea towels, toilet paper and more
Upon your arrival, there is a tea towel, dish cloth and a starting supply of toilet paper in your houseboat. If you need more, you must bring/purchase this yourself.

Payment terms
We kindly ask you to pay a deposit of 25% of the trip price no later than 10 days after you receive our confirmation of your booking. The balance must be paid no later than 45 days before your arrival. If you order less than 45 days before your arrival, we ask you to pay the day after you have received our confirmation of your order.
Waching maschine/Laundry
Unfortunately, there is no washing machine at Sandkås Seaview, but if you need to wash clothes during your holiday, you are welcome at the sister resort, Storløkke Feriepark, where you can do laundry for DKK 50 per person. wash. The address for Storløkke Feriepark is Genvej 4-6, 3770 Allinge.
