Klintely is beautifully located in Sandkås, which is located a little south of Allinge on the north side of Bornholm You stay about 500 meters from the sea - and Sandkås Beach, where you must experience the picturesque combination of towering cliffs and chalk-white sand. After a wonderful swim you may take the little walk along the coastal path to the south and find the fishing village “Tejn”, where you will find lovely shops, cafes and a cozy harbour atmosphere - do not forget to taste the good beers at the microbrewery Penyllan, which has won awards for its beers throughout Europe.
You can also choose to walk along the coastal path between rocks and sea towards Allinge. When you arrive at Allinge's old town, you will be greeted by a delicious scent from one of the city's herring smokehouses. Taste the delicious fish dishes before you continue towards the harbour in Allinge, where there are lots of shops and a wonderful harbour atmosphere. If you continue further on, you will come to Sandvig, where a visit to the castle Hammershus gives you an insight into the harsh life of the Middle Ages. Close to the sea, rocks and beach
You live approximately 500 meters from the beautiful cliffs, the sea and Sandkås' chalk-white sandy beach. If you go left along the coastal path, you will come to beautiful city "Allinge", which offers several shops, restaurants and smokehouses. From here it is also not far to Hammershus, which is clearly worth an experience both the 1st and 5th time. On the other hand, if you go to the right along the coastal path, you will come to the small fishing village of Tejn, which also offers cozy shops and cafes. You live nicely centrally on the northern side of Bornholm in a scenic area.

Time of arrival
You can enter the holiday apartment from 3 PM on the day of arrival. If necessary, read more under the item "Key handover".
Departure time
On the day of departure, we ask you to please leave the holiday apartment no later than 10:00 AM, so that there is time for the holiday apartment to be cleaned for the next guests.
Arrival days
As a starting point, you are free to choose the day of arrival and departure, just as you do not have to book whole weeks. You can ex also go on short breaks for 3-4 nights. It allows you to put together the holiday completely according to your choice, just as you can choose to travel on the cheapest ferry days. The cheapest ferry days are usually Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Allergy-friendly holiday homes
All holiday homes on Klintely are non-smoking. If you are allergic to pets, you can choose a holiday home at Klintely that is pet-free. Just let us know in connection with your booking, and we will make sure to book an allergy-friendly holiday home for you. Any allergies to down are no problem either, as our duvets and pillows do not contain down.
Baby package
You can rent a baby package consisting of: High chair, crib, stroller (sturdy umbrella stroller with a canopy, where the backrest can be fully reclined), changing pad, and bathtub. We kindly ask you to reserve the baby package when you make your booking. You should pick up the baby package at the reception upon your arrival, and we ask you to return the equipment to the reception at your departure.
Bicycle rental
You can rent bicycles at the reception – please remember to order them no later than the day before. Prices per. bicycle is:

- 3 days: 200 DKK
- Extra day: 40 DKK
- Helmet: 25 DKK per person
Barbeque
All holiday apartments and holiday homes on Klintely are owned by private individuals, where some have a barbecue for their holiday home, while other owners have not wanted to have a barbecue. We can therefore not guarantee that there is a barbecue at your holiday home - but if there is no barbecue, then you are always welcome to bring a barbecue yourself if you want to grill. Just remember to consider the neighbors when grilling. Be aware that you must clean the grill yourself after your use.
Bus to Klintely
The bus stop at Boderne is approximately 260 meters from the Klintely. The timetable for the bus routes and an overview map of all bus routes on Bornholm can be found here: www.bat.dk
Cleaning
Holidays must be holidays! Therefore, we make sure to clean your holiday home on arrival / departure - then you are always sure that your holiday home is properly cleaned on your arrival. Thus, you are free from the work of cleaning yourself before your departure. When you book through us, cleaning is always included in your rental price. You therefore do not have to pay extra for the cleaning. Upon your departure, we therefore ask you to simply make sure that any waste is placed in the garbage bag, and that the kitchen service is cleaned. At Klintely, the cleaning staff also thinks in environmentally friendly ways. All cleaning agents are thus Nordic Ecolabelled / environmentally correct.
Disability conditions
The holiday apartments for 2 people as well as the holiday homes for 6-8 people are unfortunately not suitable for wheelchair users. On the other hand, the holiday apartments for 2-4 people and 4-6 people are handicap friendly - for example, the doors have sufficient door width for wheelchairs, and there are no steps in the apartments. The bathrooms have enough space for you to turn around with a regular wheelchair. However, you should be aware that the outside areas at Klintely are not all paved - there are thus a number of gravel paths. Please let us know if you bring a wheelchair - then we will do our utmost to find the best possible holiday apartment for you.
Duvets / Bed linen
There are duvets and pillows in the apartment. Bed linen and towels are therefore the only thing you must bring yourself. Alternatively, you can rent a linen package, consisting of sheets, pillow and duvet covers as well as a large and a small towel, for EUR 22,- per person. Remember to pre-order on +45 56 95 85 66, or add it to your booking online on the booking form, if you want to rent bed linen / towels.
Dogs and cats
In some of the apartments and cottages it is allowed to bring dogs. If you want to bring your 4-legged friend, please let us know when booking your apartment. Due to the extra cleaning that we have to perform, it costs EUR 48,- to bring your dog with you. The price is valid for the entire stay. It is easy for you to bring your dog to Bornholm - even if you travel via Sweden. Just remember to meet the requirements of the Swedish customs authorities. Usually, the rules for importing animals into Sweden are restrictive. However, the rules are very relaxed when you are "just" in transit to Bornholm. Electric cars
Unfortunately, it is not legal to charge electric cars by pulling power cables out of the holiday apartment, as the resort's electricity network is not built for the load from electric cars. If you have an electric car, we instead refer you to charging at the public charging stations nearby.
Grill
All holiday apartments and summer houses at Klintely are owned by individual private persons, with some having a barbecue for their holiday home, while other owners did not want to have a barbecue. We therefore cannot guarantee that there is a barbecue at your holiday home - but if there is not one, you are always welcome to bring your own barbecue if you wish to barbecue. Just remember to consider the neighbors when you grill. Please note that you must clean the grill yourself after use.
Ironing
You can borrow irons and ironing boards at the reception at Klintely - and of course it's free for you.
Key handover
The key collection takes place at the reception at Klintely. Together with the confirmation of your booking, we inform you about how to get the key to your holiday home. It works easily no matter what time of day you arrive.
Kitchen equipment
All holiday homes at Klintely have a well-equipped kitchen. You therefore do not need to bring kitchen utensils or the like.
Laundry
Unfortunately, there is no washing machine at Klintely, but if you need to wash clothes during your holiday, you are welcome at the sister resort, Storløkke Holiday Park, where you can wash for DKK 50 per person. wash. The address of Storløkke Holiday Park is: Genvej 4-6, 3770 Allinge. Contact the reception and the staff will show you the way to the laundry room.
Parking
You can park for free at Klintely. The holiday homes are located 5 to 100 meters from the parking lot. If you want a specific location of your holiday home, we ask you to inform us with your booking.
Shopping
Klintely is located between the towns of Tejn and Allinge, with great shopping opportunities: Dagli'brugsen in Tejn is 2.4 kilometers from Klintely, and in Allinge (2.5 kilometers from Klintely) you will find SuperBrugsen and Netto.

Terms of payment
We kindly ask you to pay a deposit of 25% of the price of the trip within 10 days after you have received our confirmation of your booking. The balance must be paid no later than 45 days before your arrival. If you book less than 45 days before your arrival, we ask you to pay the day after you have received our confirmation of your booking.
Towels, toilet paper and more
Upon arrival, there is a tea towel, dishcloth and a boot stock of toilet paper in the holiday apartment. If you need more, you must make sure to bring / purchase this yourself.

Klintely is located in Sandkås a little outside Allinge on Nordbornholm. The Allinge / Sandkås area was the first destination when Bornholm's tourism started in the early 1900s. The distinctive and beautiful combination of sand beach and towering cliffs was probably the reason why both the Danish and German bourgeoisie had Allinge / Sandkås as their favorite holiday destination already one hundred years ago - and Allinge / Sandkås is still one of Bornholm's most coveted resorts.
“Kås” is an old local word for "somewhere between the rocks", and Sandkås is therefore a very telling name for this beautiful natural area; between the towering cliffs you will find the softest white sand - and in front of you lies the sea and tempts for a swim. After a swim, you can continue along the coastal path to the south to the small fishing village Tejn, where there are cafes, shops and not least the brewery Penyllan, which is famous throughout Europe for its good beer.
The nature surrounding Klintely
The beach at Klintely is beautiful, but try a walk in the woods behind Klintely's holiday homes, where you will find one of Bornholm's famous fissure valleys "Storedalen". Storedalen was created thousands of years ago by tensions in the subsoil causing the granite to crack larger and larger cracks. Melting water from ice age glaciers subsequently eroded away soil and rocks, creating a ravine with steep cliff sides. It is a great experience to walk in the narrow fissure valley with the high cliffs on both sides. The fissure valley creates a growth basis for many beautiful plants - in the Spring, the white, yellow and blue anemones bloom together with yellow wart root and violet larch spores.
Medieval adventures at Hammershus
From Sandkås you can also take the coastal path to Allinge, where you walk between towering cliffs, while one beautiful view of the sea replaces the other. Soon a lovely scent will meet you. At the end of the coastal path is one of Bornholm's best smokehouses, which offers you delicious fish delicacies. After a nice lunch you can continue towards the harbour in Allinge, where cafes and yachtsmen create a wonderful harbour atmosphere. Continue further out of Allinge to Sandvig and Northern Europe's largest castle; Hammershus. At Hammershus you will experience medieval adventures and exciting stories. Did you know, for example, that you had public user fees as early as the Middle Ages? Of course, you paid the executioner yourself if you had to have your head cut off ... and there was always a prepayment. Below Hammershus is Hammer- harbour, where small boats take you on beautiful trips along the coast.

Be set 300 years back in time
South of Sandkås is Gudhjem, where you can sail to Christiansø and Frederiksø. In the 18th century, the two small islands were transformed into Denmark's advanced naval base in the Baltic Sea. The naval base was a thorn in the side of the English, who repeatedly launched violent bombardments of the island. But the Danish soldiers persevered, and thus the two small islands remained Danish. The cannons are still here, and with its exciting history and distinctive nature, you are set 300 years back in time.

If you drive inland from Klintely, you will find Denmark's third largest forest Almindingen, where you will have a chance to see some of Europe's last bisons - or maybe you want to win the big prize on the trotting track?
