Time of Arrival
You will be able to check in to your holiday home from 15:00 on the arrival day. Read more under "Keys" if you arrive late at night.
Time of Departure
On the day of departure, we ask that you leave the holiday home no later than 10:00, so that we can prepare the holiday home for the next guests.
Arrival days
In the period June 29 - August 10 , Thursday is the arrival/departure day. In other periods, you can basically freely choose the arrival day of the week. In some periods, due to the other bookings, however, there may be restrictions on the choice of arrival day. As a rule, you don't need to rent for whole weeks either outside the period of June 29 - August 10. It gives you the opportunity to put together the holiday according to your choice, just as you can choose to travel on the cheapest ferry days. The cheapest ferry days are usually Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
Baby package
You can rent a baby package consisting of: High chair, crib, stroller (sturdy umbrella stroller with a canopy, where the backrest can be fully reclined), changing pad, and bathtub. We kindly ask you to reserve the baby package when you make your booking.
Payment terms
We kindly ask you to pay a deposit of 25% of the trip price no later than 10 days after you receive our confirmation of your booking. The balance must be paid no later than 45 days before your arrival. If you order less than 45 days before your arrival, we ask you to pay the day after you have received our confirmation of your order.
Bus to Boesvang
The bus stop is approximately 400 meters away from the holiday apartment. The schedule for all bus routes on Bornholm can be found here: bat.dk.
Duvets and pillows
There are duvets and pillows in the holiday apartment. You only need to bring your own bed linen and towels. Alternatively, you can rent a linen package consisting of sheets, pillow and duvet covers, as well as a large and a small towel for DKK 160,- per person. Please remember to pre-book if you want to rent bed linen/towels.
Grill
There is a small grill available in the holiday apartment. You are also welcome to bring your own grill. Please remember to take your neighbours into consideration when grilling.
Disability conditions
Boesvang is suitable for people with physical disabilities. There are no stairs in the apartment, and parking by the apartment.
Shopping
SuperBrugsen and Netto in Allinge are the closest grocery stores (approximately 1,700 meters).
Dogs
Unfortunately it is not allowed to bring dogs or other pets to Boesvang. If you wish to travel with pets, we recommend you visiting this page.
Internet
There is free wireless internet at Boesvang. Transmission strength may vary. If you need to use the internet connection for work-related matters, we therefore recommend that you bring your own mobile broadband. If the network does not function optimally, this does not provide a basis for financial compensation. You will find the code for the internet in your apartment.
Kitchen appliances
Boesvang has a well-equipped kitchen - including kitchen service. You therefore do not need to bring kitchen utensils or the like.
Keys
When we send you your holiday confirmation, we will also inform you about how to get the key to the holiday apartment. It works easily - and it's no problem if you arrive late at night.
Parking
You can park for free right at Boesvang.
Cleaning
A holiday must be a holiday! That is why we make sure to clean your apartment on arrival/departure - so you are always sure that the apartment is properly cleaned on your arrival, and you are free from the work of cleaning yourself before your departure. When you order through us, cleaning is always included in your rental price. You therefore do not have to pay extra for the cleaning. On your departure, we therefore simply ask you to ensure that the furniture is in its place, the kitchenware is washed up, and any waste is handed over to the area's environmental station.

Hammerknuden is well suited for running and walking
Boesvang is located in Allinge, but also close to Sandkås, on the northern side of Bornholm. Allinge was the first destination when Bornholm's tourism began at the beginning of the 20th century. The distinctive and beautiful combination of sandy beach and towering cliffs was probably the reason why both the Danish and German citizens flocked to Allinge a hundred years ago.
Follow the coastal path to Allinge-Sandvig or Tejn-Sandkås
From Boesvang, you can go left along Poppelvej and follow the beautiful coastal path, which offers a wonderful hike. If you go south, you will come to the cozy fishing village Tejn-Sandkås, which offers a beautiful sandy beach and a cozy harbor environment, where you can enjoy a beer at the local brewery Penyllan, have a delicious bite to eat, or perhaps you want to visit one of the many artisans? Tejn dates all the way back to 1569, when Tejn was at that time a farming community consisting of farmers and fishermen. The fishing tradition is also kept in check when Tejn hosts the annual fishing competition, Trolling Master Bornholm, where you the participants have to catch the largest salmon. If you follow the coastal path to the north, you will come to Allinge-Sandvig. It is not a long trip to Allinge, but set aside some time to stop and enjoy the fantastic sea view. You can easily make the time pass in Allinge – perhaps with a trip past one of the town's two smokehouses, or one of the many other eateries in the town? In the summer you can experience the hawker market at Allinge Harbor, where you can strike a bargain with the locals. In Allinge you will also find Gæstgivergården – a local venue where you can enjoy a summer evening for a cozy intimate concert with some of the biggest names in music in Denmark.
Northern Europe's largest castle ruin is located in Allinge-Sandvig
Just outside Allinge-Sandvig lies Hammerknuden with Northern Europe's largest castle ruin; Hammershus. Visit the exciting castle and hear the many fun and interesting stories. Did you know, for example, that already in the Middle Ages there was public user payment? Of course, you had to pay yourself if you were to have your head chopped off by the executioner...and there was always advance payment!

Hammershus is located on the Hammerknuden rock formation. The hike around Hammerknuden has been voted Denmark's most beautiful hike.
Enjoy unparalleled panoramic views in a beautiful terrain. Or how about taking a trip with Denmark's longest zip line at the beautiful lake "Opalsøen"? With the harness securely and well fastened, you throw yourself from a cliff high up, and then it goes down at full speed towards Opalsøen, where you are finally slowed down and slowly slide down towards the lake shore. A fantastic experience that you will remember for many years.
Many of the island's sights are located on the northern Bornholm
Around Allinge and Sandkås are many of the sights and attractions that help make a holiday on Bornholm something very special. Allinge and northern Bornholm are also home to Bornholm's legendary figure - the little troll boy "Krølle Bølle". If you are travelling with children, they will love to read stories about Krølle Bølle and his adventurous experiences.
UFO's or Krølle Bølle?
Whether it is Krølle Bølle who is at stake or not cannot be said, but in the book "Mysterious Denmark" there are many accounts of mysterious luminous objects which move at high speed across the sky on the northern side of Bornholm. For example, a German tourist has seen a saucer-shaped craft fly out from Hammerknuden through a large opening that suddenly appeared in the rock face. Shortly afterwards, several yachtsmen reported seeing a similar craft take off from the sea at Hammerknuden and continue vertically into the sky until they lost sight of it. In 2017, several people independently saw a mysterious pink aircraft flying over the water at Allinge.
See Hammershus from the lakeside
You can also go sailing from Hammerhavnen a little north of Allinge, where small boats take you on a trip along the coast. Seen from the water side, the rocky coast becomes even more dramatic. When you pass below the old castle Hammershus, you will vividly imagine that the castle was an impregnable fortress in the turbulent Denmark of the Middle Ages. The experiences are spiced up by stories from your boat driver - and that certainly does not make the experiences any less exciting.
