Bornholm is the ideal holiday destination - also when you want a beach holiday. On Northern Bornholm you will find the small fine bays with sand surrounded by idyllic cliffs. Further south, the long sandy beaches begin, with Dueodde as the absolute best and largest beach on Bornholm. Miles of white sand lie ready, so fine that in the 1800s it was used in hourglasses, including by Emperor Napoleon!
On Bornholm, there are no large hotels in the middle of the beach. The beaches are also not plastered with ice cream parlors and beach huts. Instead, you have to settle for enjoying untouched nature and swimming from some of Europe's best sandy beaches.
