Holiday home interior
When you enter the holiday home via a small entrance hall, you are greeted by an open kitchen that is well equipped with, among other things, a coffee machine, kettle, stove, fridge with freezer and dishwasher. Here you will also find a cozy dining area with plenty of space for the whole family.
From the entrance there is access to a covered terrace with a barbecue - perfect for outdoor dinners in the fresh Bornholm air. The garden table on the terrace can be moved out onto the space in front of the house to enjoy the sun and the view of the water.
From the family room, you have access to the house's charming bathroom with shower, toilet, washing machine and dryer, as well as to one of the home's two bedrooms, which is furnished with a double bed, desk and a cozy, newly built loft with another sleeping place.
Down the stairs from the family room you come to the home's cozy living room, where a soft sofa corner, an armchair and TV with Chromecast invite you to relax and be entertained. The living room gives access to the home's second bedroom, which is also furnished with a double bed and desk. From the living room, you can step directly out onto a balcony with a bench, a few chairs, a small table and a view of the green common area - a wonderful place to enjoy your morning coffee or a quiet moment.

Holiday home interior
From the small entrance hall you enter an open kitchen-living room with a dining area and a wood-burning stove, which promises warmth and well-being on cooler days. The kitchen is well equipped and contains, among other things, a coffee machine, kettle, stove, fridge with freezer and dishwasher.
From the dining room there is direct access to a covered terrace with a grill, which makes it easy to move dinner outside and fill your lungs with the fresh Bornholm air.
From the living room there is an entrance to two separate bedrooms (sleeps 4), with a double bed in one and a bunk bed in the other, as well as a bathroom with shower, toilet and washing machine.
Up a spiral staircase in the kitchen-dining room you arrive at the apartment's first floor, where a cozy living room with a soft sofa corner and TV offers relaxation and entertainment. From this living room there is access to a covered balcony that invites you to spend time outdoors with a view of the rolling sea.

Time of Departure
On the day of departure, we ask that you leave the apartment no later than 10:00, so that we can prepare the apartment for the next guests.
Arrival days
From June 30th to August 3rd, Sunday is the designated arrival/departure day. During other periods, you can generally choose your arrival day freely throughout the week. However, due to other bookings, there may be some limitations on the choice of arrival days in certain periods. You are not required to rent for whole weeks as a basic rule. This flexibility allows you to tailor your holiday according to your preferences, and you can opt to travel on the most economical ferry days, usually Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Accessibility
We do not recommend Hammershuse for people with mobility issues or wheelchair users, as the apartments are on two levels, and the area, in general, is quite hilly.
Bus to Hammershuse
The bus stop is approximately 350 meters from Hammershuse. The schedule for all bus routes on Bornholm can be found here: bat.dk.
Cleaning
Holidays should be stress-free! That's why we take care of cleaning your apartment/holiday home/room upon arrival and departure – ensuring that your holiday accommodation is properly cleaned when you arrive, and you don't have to worry about cleaning it yourself before you leave. The cost of cleaning is included in the rental price, so there is no extra charge for cleaning. When you depart, we kindly ask that you ensure the inventory is in place, kitchenware is washed, and any trash is deposited in the area's waste disposal facility.
Dishcloths, Toilet Paper, and more
Upon your arrival, you will find a dishcloth, kitchen towel, and a starter supply of toilet paper in your holiday home. If you need more, you will need to bring or purchase it yourself.
Duvets and bed linen
There are duvets and pillows in the holiday apartment. Bed linen and towels are therefore the only thing you must bring yourself. Alternatively, you can rent a linen package, consisting of sheets, pillow and duvet covers as well as a large and a small towel, for 22 EUR per person. Please remember to pre-order if you want to rent bed linen/towels.
Electric cars
Unfortunately, it is not legal to charge electric cars by pulling out power cables from the holiday apartments, as the holiday apartment's electricity network is not built for the load from electric cars. If you have an electric car, we refer you to charging at the nearby public charging stations instead which is located approximately 5 minutes from Hammershuse.
Grill
All Hammershuse holiday homes are owned by private individuals, and some have chosen to have a grill while others do not. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that there is a grill at your holiday home. If you want to be completely sure, you are welcome to bring your own grill. Just remember to be considerate of the neighbors. Please note that if you use a grill that is provided at the holiday home, you should clean it yourself after use.
Dogs
All Hammershuse holiday homes are owned by private individuals, and some have chosen to allow pets, while others have not. In the individual apartment description, you can read whether it is allowed to bring pets or not. You are also welcome to call us at +45 56 95 85 66 if you are unsure.
Internet
There is wireless internet access in the holiday homes. The signal strength may vary depending on the number of simultaneous users. If you need the internet connection for work-related purposes, we recommend bringing your own mobile broadband. If the network does not work optimally, this does not provide grounds for financial compensation.
Kitchenware
Hammershuse are all equipped with a good and well-stocked kitchen. There is kitchen equipment and tableware in the apartment. Therefore, you do not need to bring kitchenware or similar.
Parking
It is not possible to park directly at the holiday home, but there is free parking in the area at Hammershuse.
Shopping
You have the opportunity to shop at Netto and SuperBrugsen in Allinge, which is a twin town with Sandvig. The stores are located approximately 4 kilometers from Hammershuse.
Smoke-Free holiday homes
All holiday homes at Hammershuse are smoke-free.
Terms of payment
We kindly ask you to pay a deposit of 25% of the trip price no later than 10 days after you receive our confirmation of your booking. The balance must be paid no later than 45 days before your arrival. If you order less than 45 days before your arrival, we ask you to pay the day after you have received our confirmation of your order.
Washing Machine
If you need to do laundry, there is a communal laundry facility at Hammershuse.

Find a trail that takes you past Salomon's Chapel, a testament from the 14th century, standing as a tribute to the fishermen who once sought shelter in the natural harbors of the area.
In the dramatic landscape of Hammerknuden, two lighthouses stand tall - Hammeren Lighthouse and Hammerodde Lighthouse. From the 82-meter high Ørnebjerg, where Hammeren Lighthouse is located, you can enjoy a view that stretches across the sky and the sea. Although the lighthouse is no longer in regular operation, it still lights up the night as a guiding star for the curious souls.
The traces of the granite adventure and outdoor exploration
Hammerknuden is not just a geological treasure chest; it is also a living museum of the island's granite adventure from the 19th and 20th centuries. Opalsøen and the peaceful Krystalsø are remnants from the time when Bornholm's granite was quarried on Hammerknuden. Try the impressive 290-meter-long cable car that takes you across Opalsøen, or attempt rappelling from the sheer cliff walls. Opalsøen is a hub for various outdoor activities during the summer.
