At Bryggergården in Svaneke you will get a lot for your money. You are staying just 500 meters from the town square in Svaneke, where there are plenty of activities and fun to be had, while still enjoying a quiet location, giving you the possibility to relax and enjoy your holiday.
Bryggergården consists of 4 holiday apartments, all with two terraces, so that you will be able to enjoy the sun in the mornings, as well as the evenings. The morning terrace faces a sheltered lawn with fruit trees, where there is plenty of room to kick a ball around, if you are travelling with children.
The lawn continues all the way to a paddock, where the horses that draw the carriage around Svaneke graze, when they are not ”at work”. On the other side of the paddock lies Svaneke Bryghus (Svaneke Brewery).
The holiday apartments in Bryggergården do not have sea views, but if you take an alternative route to the town square, you will only have to walk 200 meters, before you will have panoramic views of Svaneke and the sea. Great, well functioning holiday apartments
The holiday apartments at Bryggergården have a functional design. All apartments have a pleasant decor, with a mix of old and new furniture. If you do not need luxury, you will be able to have a lovely holiday, with great value for money, at Bryggergården. Choose between the following apartments:
Apartment A for 5 people
Hallway with access to bathroom, living room with TV, kitchen, and bedroom (double bed). From the hallway, a staircase will take you to the first floor, where there are two bedrooms; one with a double bed, and one with a single bed. The apartment has two terraces. The kitchen has a stove, refrigerator with freezer compartment, coffee maker, and electric kettle.
Please be aware that the staircase to the first floor is quite steep. As such, apartment A is not suitable if you have difficulty walking. Even though apartment A is designed for 5 people, and apartment B and C are ”only” for 4 people, apartment A is roughly the same size as apartment B and C.
Apartment B for 4 people
Hallway with access to bathroom and living room. From the living room, you have access to the kitchen and two bedrooms, both with two single beds. The apartment has two terraces. The kitchen has a stove, refrigerator with freezer compartment, coffee maker, and electric kettle.
Apartment C for 4 people

Apartment B and C are practically identical. The kitchen has a stove, refrigerator with freezer compartment, coffee maker, and electric kettle.
Apartment D for 5 people
Hallway with access to bathroom and living room. From the living room, you have access to a bedroom with two single beds, as well as the kitchen with a stove, refrigerator with freezer compartment, coffee maker, and electric kettle. The living room leads to a hallway with access to an alcove that sleeps one, and a bedroom with a double bed.
Safety-Guarantee
The world has become unpredictable. At Bryggergården you can book your stay with a Safety-Guarantee, which ensures that you can cancel your holiday for free if you still do not want to travel. You do not have to state a reason and you can cancel up to 30 days before your arrival. The price is just EUR 41,- per holiday home. Arrival days
There are no set days for arrival or departure. As such, you are able to plan your holiday completely according to your own wishes – and you can choose to travel on the days when the ferry is cheapest. Usually, the ferry is cheapest on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Thursdays.
Check-in
You will be able to check in to your holiday home from 4 PM. Read more under "Keys" if you arrive late at night.
Departure time
On the day of departure, we ask that you leave the holiday apartment no later than 10:00 AM, so that we can prepare the apartment for the next guests.
Book more than one apartment
If you wish to book more than one apartment, all you have to do is book one apartment, and make a note in the comment section, of how many apartments you would like to book. We will take care of your reservation manually. Of course, you are always welcome to call us on (0045) 56 95 85 66.

Cleaning
A holiday is a holiday! We take care of the cleaning prior to your arrival and following your departure, so that you can rest easy knowing that you will arrive at a clean apartment, and you will not have to worry about cleaning before your departure. When you book your holiday with us, cleaning is always included in your fee, and there will be no extra cleaning charges. On your departure, we ask that you have placed all of your rubbish in the bin bag, and that you have washed the dishes.
Dishtowel, toilet paper, etc.
Upon your arrival, you will find a dishtowel, dishcloth, and a start-up inventory of toilet paper and kitchen towels, in your holiday apartment. Should you require extra, we ask that you bring, or purchase, this yourself.
Duvets and bed linen
There are duvets and pillows in the apartment. Bed linen and towels are therefore the only thing you must bring yourself. Alternatively, you can rent a linen package, consisting of sheets, pillow and duvet covers as well as a large and a small towel, for 22 EUR per person. Remember to pre-order if you want to rent bed linen / towels.
Disability access
The holiday apartments in Bryggergården are, unfortunately, not designed for people with physical disabilities. Please contact us at +45 56 95 85 66 if you need a holiday resort more suitable for people with physical disabilities.
Electric cars
Unfortunately, it is not legal to charge electric cars by pulling power cables out of the holiday apartment, as the resort's electricity network is not built for the load from electric cars. If you have an electric car, we instead refer you to charging at the public charging stations nearby.
Freezing opportunities
All apartments at Bryggergården have a fridge with a small freezer box.
Internet
Unfortunately, there is no internet access at Bryggergården.
Keys
When sending your final confirmation/invoice, we will inform you where you can collect your key.
Parking
You will be able to park, free of charge, right by Bryggergården.
Pets
In some of the apartments at Bryggergården, it is possible to bring dogs. An additional cleaning fee of EUR 48 will be charged for bringing your four-legged friend. If you bring 3 dogs, or more, the fee is EUR 96. It is quite easy to bring your dog or cat to Bornholm, as long as you live up to the requirements from the Swedish Custom’s Agency. Washing machine
If you need to do laundry during your stay, you will be able to borrow a washing machine, free of charge, at Bryggergården.
Payment terms
We ask that you make a deposit of 25% of the total fee, no more than 10 days after receiving your order confirmation. We ask that you pay the residual sum no later than 45 days prior to your arrival. If you have made your reservation less than 45 days before your arrival, we ask that you pay the fee in full, the day after receiving your order confirmation.

Svaneke is one of the few towns in Europe, which has been awarded the European Council’s gold medal for ”Excellent Preservation Work”. Take a ride on the local horse drawn carriage, where you can lean back and enjoy the beautiful old timber framed houses.
Across the field to the Square
From Bryggergården, you only have 500 meters to Svaneke Torv if you take the straight road. BUT... try turning right instead when you come out of the Brewery. You have to go up a small hill, but at the top of the hill you have the most beautiful view of Svaneke with the sea in the background, and in front of you is a small gravel road that leads you down to Svaneke's old town. It is a pleasant and beautiful trip.
Experience the harbor atmosphere
On the harbour, you will soon experience the holiday vibes, and perhaps be tempted with a cup of coffee, in one of the charming cafes. From the harbour, you can walk along the narrow streets to the square, where there is always a great atmosphere – especially on market days, where you might be able to get a good deal from one of the locals. We recommend that you visit ”Svaneke Købmandshandel”, which is a charming traditional grocery store, where time was stopped in the 1950s.

Svaneke - The creative hub of Bornholm
Svaneke is not just charming. Svaneke is the creative hub of Bornholm. Here, you will be able to find anything your eyes, or belly, may desire. Glass art. Paintings. Designer clothes. Handmade liquorish, chocolate, ice cream, and hard candy. Do visit the local smokehouse, with its fish delicacies, or Svaneke Bryghus with its critically acclaimed beer. Of course you need to take part in the local version of the lottery: ”Chicken Bingo”. The game is very simple, 3 chickens are let out onto a large bingo field, and it is your job to guess which of the numbers receive the first ”greeting” from one of the chickens. Chicken-Bingo in Svaneke has been voted by Berlingske Tidende as Denmark's third best holiday experience.
Do you have children with you? Then they will love Brændesgårdshaven
Just behind Bryggergården, a path goes up through the fields. The path has been here for millennia and leads up to Sorte Muld, one of Scandinavia's largest settlements from the Iron Age. At the time, the king of Bornholm lived here, and thousands of so-called golden figures - small figures made of gold - have been found, which testify that it was a very rich society. The excavations continue every summer, and you are welcome to stop by. Perhaps it is today that the great gold treasure will be found? If you continue past Sorte Muld, you will come to Bornholm's large amusement park "Brændesgårdshaven", which offers a multitude of fun activities for the children, mini-zoo, rowing boats and much, much more. Once the entrance is paid, all rides are free. Brændesgårdshaven is a "must" to visit when you have children with you to Bornholm.
Warning – Svaneke is highly addictive
It is not just the tourists that love Svaneke. Svaneke is the town with some of the highest real estate prices on Bornholm. Not just the local islanders move to Svaneke, many tourists forget all about their return ticket to ”Denmark”, when they have visited Svaneke. As such, we must warn you that visiting Svaneke can be highly addictive…
