Møllehuset is a lovely summerhouse, beautifully situated on the waterside of "Møllebakken" – close to the almost 400 year old mill in Svaneke – hence the name Møllehuset (The Mill House).
The summerhouse with a floorplan of 100 m2, split between two levels. On the ground floor, you will be met with a charming hallway, which takes you into the large living room and kitchen. From the living room, you will have access to two lovely terraces. You can also enjoy the large garden, with barbecue tables.
Located just 600 meters from the town square, Møllehuset has a quiet, yet central, location.
Right by Møllehuset, you can access a path, which takes you to the sea, where you can jump in from the rocks. If you continue further along, you will reach the idyllic Vigehavn, where little fishing boats contribute to a charming atmosphere. Vigehavn is a small natural harbour, which has been used for centuries. From Vigehavn, you can continue on the path along the beautiful old timber framed houses – and soon a wonderful smell from Svaneke Smokehouse will appear. Arrival days
There are no set days for arrival or departure. As such, you are able to plan your holiday completely according to your own wishes – and you can choose to travel on the days when the ferry is cheapest. Usually, the ferry is cheapest on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Thursdays.
Arrival time
You will be able to check in to your holiday apartment from 4 PM. Read more under "Keys" if you arrive late at night.
Departure time
On the day of departure, we ask that you leave the holiday apartment no later than 10:00 AM, so that we can prepare the apartment for the next guests.
Book more than one apartment
If you wish to book more than one apartment, all you have to do is book one apartment, and make a note in the comment section, of how many apartments you would like to book. We will take care of your reservation manually. Of course, you are always welcome to call us on (0045) 56 95 85 66.

Cleaning
A holiday is a holiday! We take care of the cleaning prior to your arrival and following your departure, so that you can rest easy knowing that you will arrive at a clean apartment, and you will not have to worry about cleaning before your departure. When you book your holiday with us, cleaning is always included in your fee, and there will be no extra cleaning charges. On your departure, we ask that you have placed all of your rubbish in the bin bag, and that you have washed the dishes.
Dishtowel, toilet paper, etc.
Upon your arrival, you will find a dishtowel, dishcloth, and a start-up inventory of toilet paper and kitchen towels, in your holiday apartment. Should you require extra, we ask that you bring, or purchase, this yourself.
Duvets and bed linen
There are duvets and pillows in the apartment. Bed linen and towels are therefore the only thing you must bring yourself. Alternatively, you can rent a linen package, consisting of sheets, pillow and duvet covers as well as a large and a small towel, for 22 EUR per person. Remember to pre-order if you want to rent bed linen / towels.
Disability access
The holiday apartments in Møllegården are, unfortunately, not designed for people with physical disabilities. If you need a holiday apartment more suitable for people with physical disabilities, please contact us at +45 56 95 85 66.
Electric cars
Unfortunately, it is not legal to charge electric cars by pulling power cables out of the holiday apartment, as the resort's electricity network is not built for the load from electric cars. If you have an electric car, we instead refer you to charging at the public charging stations nearby.
Freezing opportunities
All apartments at Møllegården have a fridge with a small freezer box.
Grill
You have the option of using a communal barbecue in Møllegården's garden. Please note that you must clean the grill yourself after use.
Internet
There is free internet access at Møllegården.
Keys
When sending your final confirmation/invoice, we will inform you where you can collect your key.
Parking
You will be able to park, free of charge, right by Møllegården.
Payment terms
We ask that you make a deposit of 25 % of the total fee, no more than 10 days after receiving your order confirmation. We ask that you pay the residual sum no later than 45 days prior to your arrival. If you have made your reservation less than 45 days before your arrival, we ask that you pay the fee in full, the day after receiving your order confirmation.
Pets
It is possible to bring dogs in the apartment at Møllegården. An additional cleaning fee of EUR 48 will be charged for bringing your four-legged friend. If you bring 3 dogs, or more, the fee is EUR 96. It is quite easy to bring your dog or cat to Bornholm, as long as you live up to the requirements from the Swedish Custom’s Agency. Washing machine
If you need to do laundry during your stay, you will be able to borrow a washing machine for a minor fee at Møllegården.

Svaneke is one of the few towns in Europe, which has been awarded the European Council’s gold medal for ”Excellent Preservation Work”. Take a ride on the local horse drawn carriage, where you can lean back and enjoy the beautiful old timber framed houses.
On the harbour, you will soon experience the holiday vibes, and perhaps be tempted with a cup of coffee, in one of the charming cafes. From the harbour, you can walk along the narrow streets to the square, where there is always a great atmosphere – especially on market days, where you might be able to get a good deal from one of the locals. We recommend that you visit ”Svaneke Købmandshandel”, which is a charming traditional grocery store, where time was stopped in the 1950s.

The creative hub of Bornholm
Svaneke is not just charming. Svaneke is the creative hub of Bornholm. Here, you will be able to find anything your eyes, or belly, may desire. Glass art. Paintings. Designer clothes. Handmade liquorish, chocolate, ice cream, and hard candy. Do visit the local smokehouse, with its fish delicacies, or Svaneke Bryghus with its critically acclaimed beer. Another fun experience is Chicken Bingo, which is Bornholm's local version of the lottery. It sounds a bit strange, but it creates lots of laughs when you let 3 chickens loose on a big bingo field where you have to bet on which number field the chickens will put the next "blob" on. As skilled announcers talk about the progress, the audience loudly comments on the progress - and some think it's good to have bad tracks in this game. The acknowledged danish newspaper Berlingske Tidende has named the Chicken Bingo in Svaneke as Denmark's third best holiday activity. You have to experience it!
