Layout of holiday apartment
The apartment is furnished in a bright and clean style with plenty of space for the whole family or a group of friends. On the ground floor you will find a large, well-equipped kitchen with a dining area for eight people and direct access to a covered terrace – the perfect place to follow life on the harbour. On the ground floor is also one of the apartment's two spacious bedrooms and a bathroom with shower, toilet and spa bath.
From the kitchen, a staircase leads up to an impressive living room with vaulted ceiling, sofa group, TV and direct access to a wooden terrace with a panoramic view of the Baltic Sea. On the same floor, you will find a guest toilet and another bright bedroom, which has its own wooden terrace with a view of the marina.
From the living room, a staircase leads up to a cozy loft with two sleeping places, from which you can also enjoy the fantastic view of the sea.

Hasle's history – from fishing lodge to holiday town
Hasle can trace its history all the way back to the 12th century, but it was only in the 16th century that the town really grew as a fishing and farming town. Later, the clay deposits in the underground came to play an important role in the city's development. When raw material production stopped in the 20th century, the old excavations were transformed into idyllic lakes with rich wildlife. Today you can also see deer in the area if you get up early and go out on the forest paths.
Hasle's hidden beach gem
Hasle Strand is one of Bornholm's best – and most overlooked. While the people of Bornholm have long enjoyed the beach, it is only in recent years that more tourists have opened their eyes to its charm. In addition to the lovely beach, Hasle offers exciting handicrafts, an atmospheric harbor environment and a historic herring smokehouse that functions as a living museum. Here you can experience how herring smoking has developed over time - and of course taste the smoked delicacies.
The cliffs of Ringebakkerne
North of Hasle lies the former granite quarry in Vang, better known as Ringebakkerne. The steep cliffs create a marked contrast to the soft sandy beach in Hasle. The granite from here has been used in several large Danish buildings - e.g. for the foundation of the Great Belt Bridge. Today, the quarry is decommissioned and serves as a popular area for climbing and rappelling. From the top you can enjoy an impressive view, and with a bit of luck you can spot a pair of peregrine falcons soaring over the area.
Kultippen – Bornholm's lunar landscape
South of Hasle, the beach changes character. The fine white sand becomes coarser and darker, and suddenly an almost moon-like landscape appears. This area, called the Kultippen, came about when coal was dug in the forests behind the beach during the 1st and 2nd World Wars. The excavated materials were taken to the coast with small train wagons and tipped off - and today the old coal wagons still stand as a reminder of the past.

Jon's Chapel – a dramatic fairytale landscape
North of Hasle you will find the idyllic fishing grounds Helligpeder and Teglkaas as well as the fascinating rock formation Jons Kapel. According to legend, a man named Jon washed ashore here after a shipwreck. In gratitude for having survived, he began to missionary for Christianity. He preached from the high rocks, where one of the formations today bears the name "Prædikestolen". The place is a fantastic excursion destination with dramatic cliffs and an exciting history.
Art and culture at Bornholm's Center for Crafts
If you are interested in art, Bornholm's Center for Crafts is worth a visit. Here you can experience changing exhibitions of Bornholm handicrafts - everything from ceramics and glass to paintings and sculptures. The museum is just a short walk from Hasle Marina and is open most of the year.
