In the period July 3 - August 14, Saturday is arrival / departure day. In other periods, you are generally free to choose the day of arrival of the week. In some periods, however, due to the other bookings at Munken, there may be restrictions on the choice of arrival day. You basically do not have to rent for whole weeks either. It allows you to put together the holiday completely according to your choice, just as you can choose to travel on the cheapest ferry days. The cheapest ferry days are usually Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Book more than one apartment
If you wish to book more than one apartment, all you have to do is book one apartment, and make a note in the comment section, of how many apartments you would like to book. We will take care of your reservation manually. Of course, you are always welcome to call us on (+45) 56 95 85 66.
Payment terms
We ask that you make a deposit of 25% of the total fee, no more than 10 days after receiving your order confirmation. We ask that you pay the residual sum no later than 45 days prior to your arrival. If you have made your reservation less than 45 days before your arrival, we ask that you pay the fee in full, the day after receiving your order confirmation.
Bus to Munken
The bus stop, which connects you to all bus routes on Bornholm, is approximately 250 meters from Munken. The timetable for the bus routes and an overview map of all bus routes on Bornholm can be found here: www.bat.dk

You can rent bikes at the reception at Svaneke Vandrehjem.

Duvets and pillows
There are duvets and pillows in the apartment. You only need to bring your own bed linen and towels. Alternatively, you can rent a linen package consisting of sheets, pillow and duvet covers as well as a large and a small towel for DKK 160,- per person. Please remember to pre-book if you want to rent bed linen/towels.
Electric cars
Unfortunately, it is not legal to charge electric cars by pulling power cables out of the holiday apartment, as the resort's electricity network is not built for the load from electric cars. If you have an electric car, we instead refer you to charging at the public charging stations nearby.
Freezing opportunities
All apartments at Munken have a refrigerator with a small freezer.
Grill
The holiday apartments at Munken are owned by individual private persons, with some having a barbecue for their holiday apartment, while other owners did not want a barbecue. We therefore cannot guarantee that there is a grill at your holiday apartment - but if there is not, you are always welcome to bring your own grill if you wish to grill. Just remember to consider the neighbors when you grill. Please note that you must clean the grill yourself after use.

At Munken you have free internet.
Dogs

Cleaning
A holiday is a holiday! We take care of the cleaning prior to your arrival and following your departure, so that you can rest easy knowing that you will arrive at a clean apartment, and you will not have to worry about cleaning before your departure. When you book your holiday with us, cleaning is always included in your fee, and there will be no extra cleaning charges. On your departure, we ask that you have placed all of your rubbish in the bin bag, and that you have washed the dishes.
Washing machine
If you need to wash your clothing during your holiday stay, you have the opportunity to borrow a washing machine for free in the laundry room at Munken.
Kitchen towels, toilet paper and more
Upon arrival, you will find a kitchen towel, dishcloth and a starter supply of toilet paper in your holiday apartment. If you need more, you are responsible for bringing/buying it yourself.

In Svaneke you will also find the popular Svaneke Brewery, which has won many awards for its good beer. Also taste the fish delicacies at Svaneke Smokehouse - and if you have children with you on holiday, they will love playing with the cannons at the smokehouse. Maybe there are pirates in sight? When you holiday at Munken in Svaneke, you live close to Svaneke Square, where there is a great atmosphere with music, food and lots of fun stalls where you can make a good bargain. You can also experience Svaneke from the local horse-drawn tram, which takes you through Svaneke's idyllic city streets. In Svaneke, you also have a good opportunity to arrange grocery shopping. Dagli'Brugsen in Svaneke is thus only 250 meters from Munken Holiday Apartments, but also try to visit Svaneke Købmandshandel, where time has stood still in 1950. It is a pleasant shopping experience.

As skilled announcers talk about the progress, the audience loudly comments on the progress - and some think it's good to have bad tracks in this game. The acknowledged danish newspaper Berlingske Tidende has named the Chicken Bingo in Svaneke as Denmark's third best holiday activity. You have to experience it!

Just outside Svaneke you will find Brændegårdshaven, which is a must visit if you have children with you on holiday. Once the entrance fee is paid, all rides in the giant amusement park are free. The absolute bravest can try Luna Loop, where for a short moment you get the whole world turned upside down when you get into the rolling moon. The whole family can also follow the exciting path around and swing in the ropes, climb over the swinging bridges and much more - or maybe visit the zoo or sail on the big lake? You can also pack your swimwear - Brændegårdshaven has a water park of 6,000 square meters.
