Ellehuset - fantastic location on Southern Bornholm

Ellehuset is peacefully located in the beautiful Bornholm nature close to Balka Beach. Balka Strand is very child-friendly due to its shallow water depth, and the sand is some of Bornholm's finest. In the summer, the beach is home to water activities where you can learn to surf, kitesurf or try a ride on a paddle board. From Balka Strand, you can go on to the small, cozy fishing village of Snogebæk, where you will find restaurants, cafes, small shops with Bornholm specialties and shopping opportunities. Ellehuset is close to a bicycle rental. Rent a bike and experience Bornholm's extensive network of cycle paths, which start almost right at Ellehuset. For example, try the cozy trip to Nexø, which is Bornholm's second largest city. Here you will find plenty of cafes, restaurants, shops and shopping opportunities. Ellehuset is a wonderful holiday home in a lovely area, where you are close to all the good Bornholm holiday experiences.

Ellehuset - Summerhouse Balka - Information

• Number of bedrooms: You will find a bedroom on the ground floor with a double bed (sleeps 2), and 3 bedrooms on the first floor with two beds each (sleeps 6). In addition, there is a bedroom in the annex with a double bed (sleeps 2). 
• Number of bathrooms: There is both a bathroom on the ground floor and on the first floor. Both with shower, toilet and underfloor heating.
• Terrace: Yes, there are 2 terraces on either side of the house as well as a terrace by the lake. All with garden furniture.  
• Barbecue: A gas barbecue is available on one of the terraces.
• Hard white goods: Ceramic stove, 2 ovens, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and 250 liter freezer
• Washing options: Yes, Ellehuset has both a washing machine and a tumble dryer. 
• Internet: Yes, Ellehuset has free internet.
• Electric charging stand: Ellehuset has its own charging stand for electric cars. Electricity consumption for charging electric cars is not included in the rental price, but you can charge at DKK 5 per kWh.• Summer house size: 240 m2.
• Distance to the beach: 1,400 meters to Balka Beach.
• Distance to restaurants: 1,000 meters (Snogebæk).
• Pets: No, you are unfortunately not allowed to bring your dog or cat into Ellehuset.
• Smoking: All rooms in Ellehuset are smoke-free.
• Arrival day: In the period 2 July - 13 August, Sunday is the arrival/departure day. In other periods, you can basically freely choose the arrival day of the week. In some periods, due to other bookings at Ellehuset, however, there may be restrictions on the choice of arrival day. Outside of the period 2 July - 13 August, you generally do not need to rent for whole weeks, so that you can also take mini-holidays of 3-5 nights. This gives you the opportunity to put together the holiday according to your choice, just as you can choose to travel on the cheapest ferry days. The cheapest ferry days are usually Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
• Arrival and departure time: You can enter the cottage from 15:00 on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, we ask you to leave the cottage no later than 10:00, so that we can have the cottage cleaned for the next guests.
• Cleaning and water and electricity consumption: Both cleaning on arrival and departure as well as water and electricity consumption are included in your rental price.
