Arrival days
In the period 1 July - 12 August, Saturday is the arrival/departure day. In other periods, you can basically freely choose the arrival day of the week. In some periods, due to the other bookings on Swanwika, however, there may be restrictions on the choice of arrival day. As a rule, you don't need to rent for whole weeks either. It gives you the opportunity to put together the holiday according to your choice, just as you can choose to travel on the cheapest ferry days. The cheapest ferry days are usually Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Bus to Swanvika

Cleaning
A holiday must be a holiday! That is why we make sure to clean your holiday home on arrival/departure - so you are always sure that the holiday home is properly cleaned on your arrival, and you are free from the work of cleaning yourself before your departure. When you order through us, cleaning is always included in your rental price. You therefore do not have to pay extra for the cleaning. On your departure, we therefore simply ask you to ensure that the furniture is in its place, the kitchenware is washed up, and any waste is handed over to the area's environmental station.

Svaneke is Bornholm's easternmost point - and probably also the most sought-after holiday town on Bornholm. There is a special charm and atmosphere in Svaneke - and this is perhaps related to the fact that Svaneke has been awarded the Council of Europe's gold medal for "Outstanding Urban Preservation". Svaneke has also been voted Denmark's most beautiful market town. Take a ride on the Svaneke horse-drawn tram and enjoy the beautiful city.
Experience the square and the harbor atmosphere
Your holiday home is only a pleasant walk of a few hundred meters from Svaneke town square and Svaneke Harbour, which exudes a wonderful holiday atmosphere. The market days at the town square are a special experience, but also visit the candy factory, the ice cream factory or have a cool refreshment at Svaneke Bryghus (Svaneke Brewery). Don't forget to also visit Svaneke Købmandhandel, which is a lively and cozy grocery store where time has stopped in the 1950s.
Visit Sorte Muld and Brændesgårdshaven
Take a walk along the coastal path, where there are wonderful panoramic views of the sea. You can also take the several thousand-year-old path from the coast and up to Sorte Muld, which is a ridge approximately 1,000 meters from Svaneke. At the time, one of the Baltic Sea's richest communities was located here - but the Baltic Sea was a troubled area, so the residents buried much of their wealth. This means that large amounts of gold jewelery have been found on Sorte Muld nowadays. Visit the exciting excavations - and if you're lucky, the archaeologists will have an open house so that you can try to find the famous gold. Neighboring Sorte Muld is the famous amusement park Brændesgårdshaven. If you have children with you on holiday, then a visit to Brændesgårdshaven is a must. There are lots of rides, mini-zoo, rowing boats, slides and more - and once you've paid the entrance fee, all the rides are free. After a visit to Brændesgårdshaven, it might be tempting to go for a swim from Svaneke Harbor - or from the small cozy beach "Hullehavn", where the wonderful cafe Syd-Øst-for-Paradis (South-East-of-Paradise) is also located?

Svaneke - The creative center of Bornholm
Svaneke has a lovely atmosphere - but Svaneke can do much more than that. Svaneke is also the center for creativity on Bornholm: Paintings. Unique glasses. Designer clothing. Licorice. Hard candy. Chocolate. Ice cream. - A trip to the local smokehouse with the delicious fish delicacies is of course also a holiday experience that you must try. If you have children with you, they will love playing on the cannons at Svaneke Smokehouse. Another fun experience is Chicken Bingo, which is Bornholm's local version of the lottery. It sounds a bit strange, but it creates lots of laughs when you let 3 chickens loose on a big bingo field where you have to bet on which number field the chickens will put the next "blob" on. As skilled announcers talk about the progress, the audience loudly comments on the progress - and some think it's good to have bad tracks in this game. The acknowledged danish newspaper Berlingske Tidende has named the Chicken Bingo in Svaneke as Denmark's third best holiday activity. You have to experience it!
The coastal path
150 meters from your holiday home in Swanvika you will find the coastal path. If you turn left, you will come to the small fishing village, Listed, where you can visit the cozy cafe "Bay Frost", which is known for its lobster sandwiches... and above the cafe is one of Denmark's finest jewelers. If you want to pamper your one and only, this is the place to do so! The trip to Listed is beautiful, but also try turning along the coastal path to the right from Swanvika, after which you will first come to the small harbor Vigehavn, and shortly after the "real" Svaneke Harbour, where there is a wonderful yachting atmosphere. If you continue off the path, you will come to one of Bornholm's "secret gems": Cafe Syd-Øst for Paradis (South-East of Paradise), where there is music and a fantastic atmosphere on summer evenings. If you want even more nature experiences, you can continue along the coastal path to the next fishing spot, which is Årsdale. Along the way, you pass horse paddocks where former top competition horses enjoy retirement with green grass and sea views. In Årsdale you can, among other things, experience the brewery Mikkeler and Årsdale Smokehouse, which tempts with delicious fish delicacies.

Svaneke is highly addictive - and that is perhaps why Svaneke is the town with some of the highest house prices on Bornholm. It is not just the local residents who are moving to the city. Many tourists have forgotten all about the return ticket to "Denmark" after a holiday in Svaneke. So beware...
